Privacy Information
 

The Privacy Rules published under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 set forth restrictions on the uses and disclosures of your health care information. The Privacy Rule also requires that all health plans provide you with a notice of their privacy practices.

Please note that some notices will bring you to an outside company page while others will reflect the Penn State Privacy Notice. As the rules require the insurer of the plan to maintain the notice, some University-sponsored plans are self-insured by the University. The University does not maintain any medical or healthcare claim information aside from Flexible Benefits Reimbursement Information.
