Specialty Medications
Medmark Specialty Pharmacy is the exclusive provider for certain specialty medications within the PPOBlue prescription drug benefit. These specialty medications are typically self- administered injectables, biological agents, biotechnology medications and other prescriptions that are not available at most pharmacies.
Medmark specializes in unparalleled personal and professional service for patients who need these unique medications. Medmark is staffed with pharmacists and nurses who are specially trained to help you understand how to manage your medication needs.

Specialty medications are dispensed in one-month supplies for a minimal copayment - $50 per month for "formulary" drugs and $100 per month for "non-formulary" drugs. These drugs are NOT dispensed through the typical "retail/short-term supply" or "mail order/maintenance" benefits.
