Supervising Students and Part-Time Staff - LDR 206

Would you benefit from learning effective techniques for supervising student staff? This program is designed for individuals whose work unit depends on student staff. Participants will focus on specific issues in supervising student employees, the difference between managing college students and career employees, communicating performance expectations, monitoring work, and motivating students.

The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People - PER 042

Dr. Steven Convey's book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, has been the best selling professional book in publishing history. This workshop focuses on the universal principles espoused by Covey as the basis for an effective personal and professional life. During the program, you will engage in interactive exercises, case studies, and discussions to apply the Seven Habits to your daily lives on the job, at home, and in the community.
