MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING STAFF
Bob Fantaske, Coordinator (865-3305)
With Management Engineering since 1997, Bob is responsible for coordinating the wide range of consulting services offered by the division. He has performed management consulting studies for numerous work units as well as serving on University-wide committees aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Bob's specialty is applying traditional Industrial Engineering work analysis methods in the administrative setting.
Prior to joining Management Engineering, Bob was a facility manager for Penn State Auxiliary Services and served in the U.S Air Force, primarily as an Industrial Engineering Officer. Bob is past-President of the Central PA Chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
Tom Hall, Senior Management Engineering Consultant (863-4268)
Providing human resources and management engineering consulting services for many years to University departments, Tom has worked in several different divisions within the Office of Human Resources. Services provided include activity-based costing, staffing analysis, productivity assessments, survey administration, and a wide-range of human resources consulting to academic and administrative departments. Tom has been involved with several University-wide improvement initiatives and has actively participated in a number of committees and strategy team endeavors.
Tom currently serves as an instructor in the Labor Studies and Industrial Relations Department teaching employment compensation. He also serves on the Human Resources Committee for the Penn State Federal Credit Union.
