HOW DO I REGISTER FOR MAIL SERVICE?

Registration can be done online at the Walgreen's Mail Order Pharmacy web site or you may provide the registration information as part of the prescription order form. If you are registering on-line please note that the Orlando facility handles the Penn State account.

Alternatively, the Registration & Prescription Order form can be downloaded and printed from the Walgreen's Mail Order Pharmacy web site and submitted with your first prescription order. Finally, if you don't choose either the paper or the on-line method, you can contact the Customer Care Center at Walgreens at 1-800-999-2655 to register on the phone.

Once you've registered, you do not need to complete another registration form unless specific information changes, including the addition of a health condition or allergy or a change or address. You can provide the new information by completing the online Registration Update Form or by following the paper or phone registration methods just mentioned.

CAN I TRANSFER A PRESCRIPTION FROM ANOTHER PHARMACY TO WALGREEN'S MAIL SERVICE?

No. Prescriptions cannot be transferred to the mail service pharmacy from another pharmacy. You must get a new prescription from your doctor and mail it to Walgreens. Your doctor also has the option to fax your prescription to Walgreen's. The fax prescription form may be downloaded from the Walgreen's Mail web site.

It's important that you actively manage your supply of prescriptions to allow time for processing and delivery. When obtaining a new prescription it is recommended that your doctor provide both a maintenance prescription for mail order and a short term prescription for use at your local pharmacy should that need arise.
