But recognizing exactly what diversity means to individuals can be complex and sometimes confusing. This interactive workshop explores the connections between diversity and Emotional Intelligence. It's Not so Simple Anymore: Working with Diverse CustomersProgram Information Communicating with customers to provide exceptional service is often a challenge. Working with a diverse range of customers is often a challenge. This program examines the impact of perceptions and stereotypes on customer service. Challenges and barriers related to diversity and customer service are identified for both internal and external customers. The Art of Understanding: Communicating across CulturesProgram Information Communication is more than what you say. It encompasses who you are, what you have experience and how others perceive you. Understanding the impact of gender, age, and culture on communication styles will help you to recognize and remedy areas of conflict and misunderstanding. |
