Internship Opportunities

Finance and Business Diversity Internship Program

The Office of Human Resources supports The Finance and Business commitment for diversity by sponsoring a six-month diversity internship program for students who are in their senior year or recently graduated from an institution of higher education. The six-month long, performance based program is designed to provide applicable work experience that correlates to particular academic and degree backgrounds. Interns work side by side with professionals, gaining increasing responsibility and career building skills as they progress through the program. Upon completion of a successful internship, the individual may be offered a permanent position within one of the following Finance and Business divisions.

The Finance and Business Division is comprised of 8 Administrative Units, Auxiliary and Business Services, The Office of the Corporate Controller, The University Budget Office, The Office of Investment Management, The Office of Human Resources, The Office of Physical Plant, The University Park Airport/Non-University Park Campus and College liaison Division and University Police. Each unit will have an opportunity to support this effort annually.

The following units in The Office of Human Resources provides services and partnerships to the University community: Employment and Compensation, Employee Relations, Health Matters, the Human Resource Development Center, Information Systems, International Scholars and Faculty Visa Services, Workers Compensation, Management Engineering, Occupational Medicine and Work/Life Programs.
