Eligibility Guidelines for Participation
in the Dual Career Employment Assistance Program

To participate in the program, you should be:

  • Part of a recruitment effort, or have lived in the area for less than one year

  • The partner of a full-time Penn State faculty or staff member

  • Willing to look at career opportunities in the local community as well as on campus

  • Aware that Penn State does not create positions for partners and is not responsible for the practices of companies to which referrals are made

  • Aware that this program does not guarantee employment

If you are not eligible for participation in the Dual Career Employment Assistance Program, you may call the Employment and Compensation Division (814) 865-1387 and ask for an appointment with an Employment and Compensation Specialist.  They will provide you with an orientation to the Penn State hiring process.
